Andrew Jackson

Volunteer Coordinator

Andrew Jackson was born and raised in Lakeland Florida. While in high school he became very passionate about theology and philosophy. After graduating, Andrew went on to pursue a degree in Theology. 

In 2010 he joined a non-profit leadership development organization. During his time in the leadership program, Lead Institute, Andrew learned and became efficient in public speaking, management, conflict resolution, and student mentorship. He also worked with various other non-profit organizations in while in Lead Institute. 

Andrew began working with LaAmistad in September 2016, and has found a new passion to begin a career in the non-profit sector. The connections that he has made while at LaAmistad are invaluable, and only add to his desire for teaching, leadership, and mentorship.

Andrew is proud to be a student at Lee University, where is he is studying Theology. He enjoys reading, cooking, and is an avid movie watcher.
