Support elementary-aged students with their homework, math and reading at our afterschool locations. You’ll work alongside a certified teacher and a bilingual parent liaison in a collaborative and fun environment. <\/span>No teaching experience or Spanish fluency is required<\/span><\/b>\u2014just a passion for helping kids succeed!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Students love and need volunteers who can make a weekly commitment so we’re flexible. Choose a schedule that works for you! Volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Thursday in 1.5-hour blocks from 3:30 PM-5:00 PM. Days and times vary by location.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

LaAmistad ESL is dedicated to helping community members learn English, and we rely on passionate volunteers to make it happen! We offer four levels of ESL classes, running on 20-week semesters, with 60 hours of instructions per semester<\/strong><\/span>.<\/strong> Classes are offered at flexible times, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, to accommodate <\/span><\/span>student and volunteer <\/span>schedules.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>
